Description
This module provides all that is required to allow microcontrollers to connect to an ethernet bus using the ENC28J60. All lines, that are required to communicate with ENC28J60, are brought out to two 6 way , 0.1" headers suitable for use in standard prototype board. In addition this module supports Power Over Ethernet.
This module supplies 3.3V using an onboard isolated (1 W) converter plus signature circuit.
Remember that the ENC28J60 uses some of the power so bear that in mind when calculating your power budgets. If you need more power we do a 2W version.
The ENC2860 IC is a complete Media Access Controller for Ethernet. It is unique in that only requires 4 wires (SPI Interface) for communication with a host controller.
Target applications include VoIP, Industrial Automation, Building Automation, Home Control, Security and Instrumentation.
Before shipping the module is tested to ensure it is fully operational.
